Description
This stable and granary, located about 30 yards east of Kennel Cottage, dates from the late 18th century. Originally built for stabling animals and storing grain, it has since been repurposed for use as kennels and later for storage. The structure is made of porphyry rubble with sandstone quoins and dressings, topped with a pantiled roof. It stands two storeys high and features four irregular bays. In the second and fourth bays, there are boarded doors set in alternating-block surrounds, with a small window in between that is currently empty. The granary above has a similar door and two slatted windows. The roof is hipped on the left side and gabled on the right.
