Description
A barn dating from the 17th century stands to the south-east of Peakes Farmhouse. The barn is timber-framed and clad in weatherboards, with a red plain tiled roof. The roof extends over a lean-to section and features a ½-hip on both the left and right sides. A central midstrey incorporates full-height double doors and an overhanging roof. The roof structure is a queen strut design with staggered side purlins. The walls incorporate through bracing. A bladed scarf is visible on the top plates.
