Description

North House is a house of three ranges dating to the 17th and 18th centuries, with later additions and alterations. The left range is timber-framed and rendered, featuring a square, hipped roof covered in red plain tiles and three red brick chimneys. It has two storeys and a three-window range of 19th-century casement windows (three lights) to the left return, one to the first floor front, and three to the ground floor. A central, small-paned glazed door is situated in the centre of the ground floor, with side lights. The central range is constructed of red brick with a hipped red plain tiled roof and a three-window range of small-paned casement windows. The right range is clad in weatherboard, also with a red plain tiled roof. It has two windows to the first floor and one to the ground floor. A chimney bears an inscribed date of 1789.
