Description

Two terrace walls located to the west of Hill Hall were built between 1927 and 1928. They were designed by Philip Tilden for Sir Robert and Lady Hudson. The walls are made of red brick with ashlar dressings. Each wall is approximately 3.5 feet high and 45 yards long, featuring ashlar coping. The upper wall also includes pillars topped with ball finials. These terrace walls were created as part of a new garden designed for Sir Robert Hudson.
