Description

This barn, located 40 metres northeast of Peartree Hall Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a roof made of handmade red plain tiles. The structure consists of five bays aligned from northeast to southwest, featuring a midstrey on the southeast side. The main roof is half-hipped, while the midstrey has a gabled roof. The barn showcases primary straight bracing, along with braces to the tiebeams and a side-purlin roof supported by queen struts.
