Description

Layer Mill is a late 18th-century water mill located on Mill Lane in Layer de la Haye. The building is timber-framed and weatherboarded, topped with a grey slate roof. It has two storeys and features a two-window range of double-hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a cantilevered hoist.
