Description
Malting Green House is an early 18th-century house constructed of red brick with a red plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high and features a five-window range with double hung vertical sliding sashes that have segmental heads. The entrance has a 19th-century doorcase with a semi-circular fanlight above it. A moulded eaves cornice adds detail to the structure. At the north end, there is a gabled wing that contains a two-window range with 19th-century sashes; this wing is made of red brick and timber framing. There is also a 19th-century lean-to extension. The main block has a square plan and is roofed in parallel ranges with central chimney stacks. Additionally, there is a range of early 19th-century outbuildings made of red brick with a hipped roof covered in red plain tiles, featuring timber louvres. The property is enclosed by an 18th-century front boundary wall.
