Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed farmhouse located in Lower Green, Wakes Colne. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. The windows are sets of three, with each window containing three panes. A front door with six fielded panels, a flat hood on a moulded case, positioned between the windows (one to the left, two to the right), provides access. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with pegtiled sections, and features two red brick chimney stacks, one near the centre and the other against the left end wall. A single-storey lean-to has been added to the right-hand side.
