Description

Leist's Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed building with a roughcast exterior. It features a steeply pitched pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high. The farmhouse has three windows, which are three-light wood mullion/transom casements with glazing bars, located at eaves level on the first floor. There are two doorways that have hoods supported by shaped bricks. A large central brick chimney stack with a moulded cornice adds to the structure's character. Notably, the east end of the farmhouse has a slightly lower roof.
