Description

The Half Moon Inn is a 17th-century or earlier building, originally timber-framed, but now almost entirely clad in 19th-century red brick. The roof is covered with black glazed pantiles, featuring gabled ends. The inn is one storey and attic high. The ground floor has three-light casement windows with glazing bars, each with a segmental head and keyblock detailing. A glazed door provides access, and there are dormers with bargeboards and finials. A brick chimney stack is positioned off-centre. Inside, the inn retains exposed timber framing and chamfered beams.
