Description

College Farmhouse is a 17th-century building featuring plastered timber-framing. It has a steeply pitched gable-ended roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic and has three widely spaced windows. The first-floor windows are 3-light mullion/transom casements, while the ground-floor windows are sashes with glazing bars. There are two doorways: the right-hand one is pilastered with an entablature and cornice, and the left-hand one has a moulded doorcase with a cornice on shaped brackets. A brick chimney stack is located off centre, with diagonally set shafts, and there are attic windows in the gable ends.
