Description

Lane Farmhouse is a 16th-century house that is timber framed and plastered, featuring a 19th-century front made of gault brick in Flemish bond. The building has two storeys and a range of three windows, with a gabled front porch. The windows are small pane hornless sashes with glazing bars. The roof is gabled and covered with peg tiles, and there are two red brick chimney stacks, with the main stack located centrally on the roof. At the rear, there is a lean-to that runs the full length of the building, along with a white weatherboarded wing that extends south from the east end, which is one storey high and has attics. The farmhouse has various additions.
