Description

Old House is an early 16th century house designed in an H-plan, featuring exposed timber framing. It has two storeys and gabled roofs covered with peg tiles, with all ridges now at the same height due to the addition of a storey in the 17th century on the hall range. The house retains cross entry doors and both crosswings are jettied on the west side. There are two red brick chimney stacks and tripartite windows on the first storey of both wings. The exterior has modern pargetting, while the timber frame is visible inside.
