Description

The barn east of Old House dates from around 1500 and is constructed with a timber frame, featuring black weatherboards and a corrugated asbestos roof. It consists of three bays aligned in a north-south direction, with posts that have jowls, arch-braces, and a raking-strut roof. The walls are externally wind-braced, and the collars are lapped to the rafters.
