Description

The weatherboarded barn at Oldhouse Farm dates from around 1600. It is timber framed and features a ridged and gabled roof covered with corrugated asbestos. The barn is four bays long and includes a midstrey in the second bay from the right. The midstrey is rendered and gabled, with newly installed Great Doors. The structure has side girts and primary bracing above them, as well as arch-braces, raking-struts, collars, and side-purlins.
