Description

This is a 16th century or earlier cottage located on Boxted Mill Road, opposite to the east of 'Lynden'. The cottage is framed in timber and has a plastered exterior with a ridged, gabled thatched roof. There is a red brick chimney situated near the north end of the building. On the east elevation, there is one eyebrowed dormer, a modern door, and two modern leaded casement windows on each side. To the right, there is a lower extension.
