Description

The wall and gateway to the gate lodge of Boxted Lodge is an early 19th-century structure featuring iron gates and a dwarf stone wall. The wall is designed in a double ogee shape, creating a recess, and is topped with spear-headed railings. Four stone piers are present, each adorned with astragal and abacus mouldings, as well as ogees and rolls. The structure also includes chamfered plinths.
