Description

The Wheelwrights House is an 18th-century house constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern. It has a ridged, gabled roof covered in slate with eaves and troughing, and inset red brick chimneys at each gable end. The building is aligned north-south. The central front door, located on the ground storey, is within a case featuring triglyphs, an over-panel, and a leaded flat hood. It has panelled reveals and a six-panelled door. Flanking the door are pairs of hornless sash windows with glazing bars, each set under a stucco segmental arch. A range of three matching windows is situated on the first storey.
