Description
Wenlocks is a 16th century timber-framed building, covered in black weatherboarding, featuring a thatched roof with ridge, hip, and gable elements. It has a single-storey addition at the northeast and a large dormer with a gable facing northwest, which contains a casement window. The ground storey has a range of three sliding-sash windows and a centrally located door. The original structure consists of two bays with an intruded first floor supported on clamps and one internal partition wall. The floor joists date from around 1600 and have diminished haunches with deep sections, while the bridging joists are stop-chamfered. The building also features a bladed scarf joint.
