Description

This is a 17th-century barn located at Norton Hall Farm. It is a timber-framed structure, entirely clad in weatherboarding, and has a corrugated iron roof. The barn comprises five bays, with a central midstrey positioned off-centre. The timber frame is primarily wind-braced and features arch-braced tie beams with side-girts. All timbers are of a substantial section.
