Description
Wagon Lodge and granary extension, built in the 18th century, is located to the west of the Wagon Lodge and northwest of Boxted Hall. This structure is timber framed and consists of four bays that are open to the north. The posts are set on similar footings, and the cladding matches that of the range to the east. Inside, the binding-joists are supported by knees, while the side-girt of the long walls on the north and south sides is held up by straight braces. The attic half-storey contains bins, and the roof features collars with side-purlins, with the bays measuring only four couples in length.
