Description

This is an 18th-century cart lodge with a granary above, situated southwest of Wakes Hall. The building is a long, two-story range constructed of red brick. The upper storey, formerly containing five Diocletian windows, is now blocked. The ground storey is open and supported by a double row of Samson posts. It features heavy pine floor joists. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
