Description

This is a circa 1500 house situated on an L-plan. It is timber-framed and originally plastered, with the timber frame exposed and jettied on the south and east sides. The windows are casements, and a large, modern porch has been added. The roofs are hipped and covered in red pegtiled tiles, with a prominent red brick chimney stack containing nine octagonal shafts at the centre of the hall roof. A staircase tower is located in the return of the plan.
