Description

41 London Road is an early 19th-century house made of plastered brick, standing two storeys tall. It features a two-window range with three-light double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, all set within moulded stucco architraves. The first-storey windows are adorned with keystones. On the ground floor, there are two elliptical-shaped bows with low parapets, and a moulded wood cornice that runs across the front of the house. The central doorway has a semi-circular headed fanlight and is framed by an ornamental wood porch from the Victorian period. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. This building is part of a group with Nos 19 to 37 (odd) and Nos 41 to 45 (odd).
