Description

Foxearth Hall Cartlodge, located approximately 20 metres north of Foxearth Hall barn, is a cartlodge dating from around 1780. It is timber framed and features a hipped corrugated iron roof that slopes to the right. The structure includes straight braces to the top plate and hanging knees to the tie beams, as well as a bladed scarf. The roof is supported by side purlins with a ridge board. This cartlodge is considered a good example of its type.
