Description

Nunnery Farm's cartlodge, located approximately 20 metres east of the house, dates from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed from timber framing and weatherboarding, with some sections of random brick walling. The roof is covered with red pantiles and features eight bays. Notably, it has timber support posts with unusual cast iron hanging knees. The right bay is enclosed with double vertically boarded doors. The roof is built using king post construction. This cartlodge is part of a farm group that includes several other listed buildings.
