Description

This cartlodge, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 8 metres southeast of a barn in Woodham Walter. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and a corrugated asbestos roof. The east wall is vertically boarded, and there are hanging knees supporting the tie beams. A stable door is situated at the rear left. This structure is considered a good example of its type and is part of the larger farm complex.
