Description

The building is a cartlodge with a hayloft, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. It is located approximately 50 metres south-west of the main farmhouse. The cartlodge is timber-framed and has weatherboarded walls on the north and west sides. The roof is corrugated iron and hipped to the rear. Some 18th-century hanging knees are visible; the remaining bracing is straight and ties the beams. At the time of survey, the cartlodge was used for straw storage.
