Description
Borley Place is a house dating from the 18th century, with early 19th-century alterations, and it incorporates remains of a structure from the late 15th or early 16th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a grey slate roof. It has two storeys and features a double range plan, with the rear range projecting at the east end. The front has a three-window range, with early 19th-century vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars. There is a central porch with a pediment. The rear range contains a mix of 18th, 19th, and 20th-century sashes and casements, along with two blind sashes on the east gable ends. Red and grey brick chimney stacks are present, and some late 15th or early 16th-century moulded beams can be seen inside.
