Description

Blacksmiths Cottage is a house dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile half hipped roof. The building has two storeys and features a small two-storey parallel range at the rear, also with a half hipped roof. The front has a six-window range with 20th-century casements and a small lean-to porch. There are red brick chimney stacks, and some original framing is visible inside.
