Description

BORLEY, Borley Green THE GREEN, K6 Telephone Kiosk

GV II

Telephone kiosk. c.1935. Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Cast iron with margin glazing. The kiosk is square in plan and has a domed top with a rectangular glazed sign which reads "TELEPHONE" surmounted by a crown in relief. The telephone and glazing have been renewed. The building forms a group with Rose Tree Cottage [q.v.]
