Description

Purkis Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, which incorporates parts of an earlier structure. It features a timber frame with plaster and a hipped red plain tile roof on the west side. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with early 19th century three-light casement windows. There is a simple moulded door surround. A single-storey range projects at the west and front, made of painted brick and timber framed with plaster, also topped with a red plain tile roof. This range includes early 19th century three-light casements with segmental heads.
