Description

Foxearth Hall Large Barn, located approximately 100 metres northwest of Foxearth Hall, is an 18th-century barn. It features a timber frame and is rough rendered with a corrugated asbestos-clad roof. The barn has two midstreys and full height doors, consisting of nine bays. Notable architectural details include hanging knees to the tie beams, through bracing to the walls, and a side purlin roof with a ridgeboard. The barn also has a bladed scarf joint. It is considered a good example of its type.
