Description

Foxearth Hall Barn, located approximately 20 metres west of Foxearth Hall Byre, is a barn dating from the 16th century. It features a timber frame, with parts weatherboarded and others rough rendered, topped by a grey slate roof. There is a central midstrey to the south. The internal brick plinth from the 16th century is faced with early 19th-century brickwork. One wall displays graffiti dating from around 1810 to 1900. The barn also has 18th-century hanging knee supports.
