Description

This building is a byre located approximately 100 metres north-north-west of Spains Hall, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and covered in weatherboarding, topped with handmade red clay tiles. The structure features five bays facing east and has two halved doors. The roof is hipped, and the walls include primary straight bracing. Bolted knees support the tiebeams, and the roof is designed with clasped purlins. This byre is listed for its group value context.
