Description

This building is a coach house, which is now used as a workshop, located 8 metres south-west of the dovecote of Spains Hall. It dates from the early 19th century and features a timber frame with weatherboarding on base walls made of flint rubble and red brick. The roof is covered with handmade red clay tiles and has two bays aligned from northwest to southeast, with the entrance on the southeast side. The roof is half-hipped at both ends and there are large double doors. This structure is included for its group value with Spains Hall, the dovecote, and other buildings in the coach house/stable block.
