Coach house. C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded and plastered, on red brick base wall, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. 4 bays facing SE, abutting at the right end on a C19 brick building altered in the C20, which is not included in the item listed. 3 double doors for vehicles to SE, and a blocked narrower arch to right of them, all with semi-circular heads. Roof half-hipped at left end. Jowled posts and heavy framing at left end, lighter studding with primary straight bracing at rear. The 4 arches are well framed in compassed timber. Bolted knees to straight tLebeams. Clasped purlin roof. The weatherboarding on the rear is original feather-edged hardwood, tarred; the boarding on the left end is softwood. Front plastered. Base wall approx. 0.50 metre high at rear.
