Description

A pair of cottages dated to the 18th century, altered in the 19th century. The cottages are timber-framed with plaster and a facade of gault brick in a Flemish bond pattern, covered by a roof of handmade red clay tiles. They face southeast and have external stacks at each end. 19th-century rear extensions feature catslide roofs. The cottages are one storey with attics, and contain four 19th-century casement windows and four more within gabled dormers. There are two 19th-century four-panel doors, the upper panels glazed. The roof is gambrel-shaped. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
