Description
Salvador, Hooks and Sheaves is a house, now divided into a house and two flats, dating from the 16th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 20th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a roof covered in handmade red clay tiles. It features a two-bay hall range facing southwest, with a 19th or 20th-century external stack at the right end and a two-bay crosswing to the left. There are single-storey lean-to extensions on the right and front, and a long single-storey range extending to the rear of the right end, which was formerly a smithy. The crosswing is two storeys high, while the hall range is one storey with attics. The crosswing is jettied and fully plastered, and there is a door in the right return. The interior has not been examined.
