3/25 Crinkle-crankle wall and garden pavilion, 5.8.86 starting 5 metres north-east of Over Hall

Crinkle-crankle wall and garden pavilion. Early C19. Wall of red brick in stretcher bond, pavilion of red brick and uncoursed pebble rubble with dressings of gault brick and thatched roof. From a point approximately 5 metres NE of Over Hall the wall extends NE for 30 metres, then NW for 40 metres, terminating at the attached pavilion. The first length of wall is of 4 bays, the second length of 6 bays, approx. 2 metres high, with a C20 moulded clay coping. The pavilion is hexagonal, facing SW, the rear part of red brick, the front part of rubble and gault brick, with a 2-centred window opening each side of the doorway, and a pyramidal roof.
