Description
The wall and pavilion, located 300 yards southwest of Horsley Towers, were built around 1860 in the Lovelace style. The structure features flint rubble with brick, tile, and terracotta dressings, while the pavilion has a cement-rendered domed roof. The wall stands approximately eight feet high and stretches about 100 feet long, complete with a plinth, brick-edged openings, and D-shaped coping at the top. At the southwest end, there is a circular pavilion under a domed roof, which is around six feet high and has a flat face to the north. The pavilion includes machicolated eaves, brick-edged openings on the east and west sides, and decorative brick-edged arched openings on the north and south sides. This structure is included for its group value.
