Description

The mausoleum located in the northeast corner of the churchyard of the Church of St. Martin dates from the mid-19th century and is designed in the Lovelace Style. It is constructed from random flint rubble, with brick and terracotta dressings on the plinth. The mausoleum has a keyhole plan, featuring an octagonal chamber with an entrance tunnel on the south side. The entrance is framed by a roll-moulded and arched surround leading to diagonally boarded doors. This structure is included for its group value.
