Description
The churchyard walls to the east of the Church of St. Martin were built in the mid-19th century in the Lovelace Style. They are constructed from flint rubble with brick bonding courses and feature machicolated coping. The walls have glazed brick dentils beneath a plain brick D-shaped coping and stand approximately 6 feet high, with openings at regular intervals of 3 feet. There is a round-arched gate on the north side, and the wall returns to the south end. These walls are included for their group value.
