4/53 Barn 55 metres north- 3.4.86 west of Cresley's Farmhouse (formerly listed as Barn approx. 25 metres north-west of New House Farmhouse)

Wrongly shown on OS map as New House. Barn. Early Cl7. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roof thatched, with valleys of handmade red plain tiles. 5 bays aligned NE-SW with original 2-bay midstrey to SE of second bay from NE end. C19 byre extending SE from SW end, mainly of red brick, partly weatherboarded, roofed with red clay pantiles. C19/20 stable range to NW, of red brick roofed with red clay pantiles. The barn has jowled posts, arched braces trenched inside close studding, face-halved and bladed scarfs in the wallplates, arched braces to the tiebeam replaced by bolted knees, and a clasped purlin roof with arched wind-braces.
