Description

This is a barn located 50 meters west of Sparrows Farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame and is covered in black weatherboarding. The roof is made of clay pantiles, with a gambrel profile on the west side and half-hipped ends. The barn consists of 10 bays, with symmetrically arranged midstreys that have gabled roofs on the east side. Between these midstreys are some open pantiled lean-tos. The threshing floor is made of old gault bricks.
