Description
Fenn Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1792, as noted on a plaque on the chimney stack. It is timber framed and plastered, consisting of two storeys and shaped in an L-plan. The main roof is covered with clay peg tiles and is gabled at both ends. There is a 20th-century rear block that is one storey high with attics and features a gambrel roof.
The main elevation displays a painted timber cornice with consoles. On the first floor, there are two tripartite double hung sash windows with single vertical glazing bars, positioned on either side of a similar conventional double hung sash window. The ground floor features pairs of similar double hung sash windows flanking the entrance door, which has a flat hood and a moulded architrave surround. Each gable end of the farmhouse is topped with a tall red brick chimney stack.
