Description

The Thatched Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame with plaster and has a gabled thatched roof. The building is one storey high with attics and includes two eyebrow dormers on the front roof slope. At the north end, there is a single storey extension with a gabled peg-tile roof, and at the rear, there is another gabled extension that is thatched. An off-centre rectangular red brick stack is located on the ridgeline, and the roof has side purlins.
