Description

Newhouse Cottage and Lark Hill Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the early 17th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and plaster, topped with a gabled peg tile roof. Each cottage features three gabled dormers. The west unit has a single stack, while the other unit has an 'L' shaped ridgeline stack. The west unit includes 20th-century metal casements, whereas Lark Hill Cottage has 20th-century timber casements with central horizontal glazing bars and arched heads. Inside Lark Hill Cottage, there is an inglenook fireplace, and there is a lean-to structure at the rear.
