Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century front to a house with earlier 17th century origins. The building has an L-shaped plan and was extended in the 19th century. Number 1 is the later addition and Number 3 the earlier section. Number 1 is constructed of plastered brick, while Number 3 is timber-framed and plastered at the rear.

Number 1 is two storeys high with a three-window facade. The central window on the first storey is blocked. Number 3 is two storeys high with a single window range. Both buildings feature double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with segmental arched heads. A raised brick band runs between the storeys of Number 3. The roof of Number 1 is slate, while Number 3 has a tiled roof.
