Description
Nos 98 and 100 on Bradford Street is a timber-framed and plastered building, likely dating from the 17th century, with alterations from the 18th and 19th centuries. It has two storeys. No 98 features jettying on the first storey and has one window range with casements that have 'gothic' arched glazing bars. The ground storey includes an 18th or early 19th-century shop window without glazing bars. The roof is tiled, with a mansard design, gabled ends, and pierced and shaped bargeboards. No 100, which dates from the 19th century, is now faced with pebbledash and has two window ranges with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. The doorway features a moulded architrave and cornice, and the roof is covered with slate.
